Ma Ning named to officiate the FIFA World Cup

Ma Ning was named in FIFA's official list of the 2022 FIFA World Cup referee released on Thursday. The 43-year-old referee therefore becomes the 1st referee from China to officiate the FIFA World Cup after 2002. Fu Ming, another elite referee from China, is not named in the list.
