China to host the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup?

A Brazilian media outlet reported that China is planning to host the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup scheduled in early 2023. China won the bid of the 2021 FIFA Club World Cup in an expanded format (24 teams to participate) as FIFA's initiative. It was postponed indefinitely.
