Zheng Zhi made his debut as an official Guangzhou head coach against Shenzhen under the helm of Lee Jang-soo, the Korean coach who led Guangzhou Evergrande to win the 1st CSL champion. A perfect start for the former captain: Guangzhou thumped Shenzhen 4:1 to gain their 3rd win of the season.
