In the opener of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, China defeated Mexico 2:1. In the first half Mexico missed a penalty. On the countrary China's Qiao Ruiqi converted a penalty award in the 48'. Yu Xingyue extended the lead in the 90' before Mexico scored a conciliatory goal.
