After 3 draws in a row, Chengdu Rongcheng defeat Shanghai Shenhua 2:1 in Mount Phoenix in the match of the round. Liu Tao and Cephas Malele scored for each side to make it 1:1 before the half-time break. Elkeson's converted a late penalty to help Chengdu to claim 3 points.
