In his CSL coaching debut, Gabri's Nantong Zhiyun was defeated by Shanghai Shenhua, 1-0, at Shanghai Stadium. Despite Nantong Zhiyun maintaining 57% possession, the home side managed to create more goalscoring opportunities. Jiang Shenglong scored the only goal in the 31'.
