After the first half of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers AFC 3rd round campaign, China has garnered 6 pts in 5 matches - the same feat as Australia and Saudi Arabia. Due to the huge deficit in goal difference (due to the 7-0 debacle in Saitama), China is currently ranked 4th in the group.
