The Chinese Basketball Association has officially announced the appointment of Gong Luming as the head coach of the Chinese women's basketball team, in preparation for the 2025-2028 Los Angeles Olympic cycle. Gong Luming served as the head coach of the Chinese men's basketball team from 1995 to 2016.
