Shanghai Port recorded the 1st win in 2025

Shanghai Port, the defending champion, hosted Shenzhen Peng City at home. In the 2nd minute, Matheus Jussa broke the deadlock, and Gustavo doubled the lead. Matt Orr pulled one back for Shenzhen, but in injury time, Gustavo scored a penalty to complete his brace. In the end, Shanghai Port won 3-1, securing their first win of the new season across all competitions, and marking a strong start to the CSL campaign.
